Ability to covert HTML emails to plaintext in email view #5171

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. HTML emails contains a lot of visual garbadge, pixel tracking, etc. I want to have ability to read only text of email, without unnecessary components (images, CSS, etc)

Describe the solution you'd like Some kind of "converter" from HTML to plaintext. Example (used that way in my own project, not related to the mail): HTML -> markdown -> plaintext | sanitized & rendered markdown

Describe alternatives you've considered Bots in different messengers which receive emails and convert them from HTML to plaintext with links

This has been something I've been waiting for in K9 forever, I would highly be interested in a forced plaintext viewing and sending by default option.
