This is a security problem. If you get your mail on a mobile device which you also use for banking, social media, other and your have to perform password recovery that is sent to your email (received via k9 on the mobile device). Some only has to open your email and follow the link and set a new password. As the world becomes less trusting it makes sense to have an option to place a password on the app when opened (got for a set amount of time 5, 10, 15 min user selectable) so someone who would steal your mobile device would not have an easy path to recover passwords for other accounts.

k9 prompt for a password when opening. Like Ageis Authenticator does (has the option to do).

I tried to clear the incoming email server password but it doesn't allow me to leave it empty. This might also work but I think the above solution would be better.
