Some Emails Are So Zoomed Out #7249

Some Emails are really zoomed out, it seems like a long link can cause this sometimes. Instead of shrinking to fit the screen. I can't provide a screenshot due to confidential data unfortunately.

I can confirm I have this bug. It appears only on certain emails. This is one example Screenshot_20231020-082857_K-9 Mail

I am happy to forward this example email to the dev.

Thank you so much for your help with that. Also glad to see it can be replicated. Is it also gmail curiously?

This is happening on my business website. Its not on Gmail. I think it's quite likely something to do with how the emails are sent. So it's not a Gmail or a outlook thing.

If you look it's something to do with the long sentence making the email zoom out rather than be wrapped.

Hm interesting. I notice it on my work mail, which is gmail, but also I am getting messages from tons of recipients and I notice it from almost pretty much everyone. So it's the same method of sending, I don't imagine most people are switching to plaintext for sending. So usually consistently HTML. Not everyone has the same signature either.

@Goldmaster: Can you provide the (HTML) source of that message? Feel free to redact text by replacing every letter by "X". But please try to keep the overall structure intact.

Yes, it does appear to be a duplicate issue raised.

Where you say html, is that under view headers? I guess there is a way to view the html format of a message?
