For me https://www.thunderbird.net ist changed to https://www.thunderbird.net/de/

I would really like to set language to English for this website without changing my device settings.

This is based on your Accept-Language setting, your browser is set to use German as the content language. This is separate from the UI language. If you're using Firefox, it's the setting called "Choose your preferred language for displaying pages".

You can simply go to https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US as well.

Thank your for your comments! I tried only en, but en-US seems to work. Because English is the preferred language for anyone who digs in deeper, a English-switch button would be helpful.

Not exactly. The address must be changed for each page.

Not sure what you mean, all the links on /en-US/ are to en-US directly, except for links to external sites where that's not possible.

There is a switcher at the bottom :) We could consider making it easier to find, yes.

With en-US clicking on Add-ons, I get the page https://addons.thunderbird.net/de/thunderbird/

Yes! Definitely. An additional small button "↺ English" at the top would be great.
