We don't have maintainers for calendars anymore, they're auto-generated. The old ones were left up because I didn't want to break any direct links, that's all.
I'm not sure if there's an easy way for us to localize specific calendars in multiple languages, but it's probably solvable.
Ah, what is the source file for the auto generated holiday calendars for the Netherlands?
As for localization, which is not trivial I can say, do you think of a service such as Weblate?

How about switching over to https://github.com/commenthol/date-holidays ? I am migrating my calendars to there too. Note the autogenerated calendars are currently a step back to what was there before for the Netherlands. Migrating to date-holiday will:
On https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/calendar/holidays/#N for The Netherlands (Dutch holidays) the file offered there is not the same as is found in https://github.com/thundernest/thunderbird-website/tree/master/media/caldata
The file offered is not the one that has been provided by me (the maintainer for Dutch holidays for many years).
Also the English, German and French version for the Netherlands is not offered there. What can be the cause of this?
