Hi, I wonder if you can add The capital variant of Ai to Main please? also stfu and Stfu. thanks.

amirsol81 commented 6 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 Greetings. We just added your suggested entries to Main. You may want to grab the latest project changes to use them. Thanks.

GeorgeWu3 commented 6 months ago

Where can I find the latest commit of the dictionary's? Also, can you add sbyw and Spyw to main please? and Chabot to Route please? thanks.

amirsol81 commented 6 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 You can always grab the latest changes from here: https://codeload.github.com/thunderdrop/IBMTTSDictionaries/zip/refs/heads/master As for your suggestions, we already have a "chabot" entry in Root. Should it be altered, and what is your suggested pronunciation? And why is "Spyw" capitalized? Which exact form of this should appear in Main?

GeorgeWu3 commented 6 months ago

I wonder if you can make sbyw to be Spelled out on lower case please? Because that's how Windows one core voices does it like. thanks.

amirsol81 commented 6 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 Done. You may want to grab the latest dictionary changes.

GeorgeWu3 commented 6 months ago

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 Sure. Just added.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

thanks

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Also, can you add the capitalized variant of Id to main please? thanks.

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 OK, done.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Thanks. Are you still accepting abbreviations for the abbreviation dictionary? I dont use it but I still want to contribute some to this project.

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 Sure, send the abbreviations so that they can be looked into.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

btw by the way Btw by the way and BTW by the way for the abbreviations? I included the capital B variant just in case and all caps just in case people are gonna spell it when writing messages to someone and if they have abbreviations on. thanks.

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

@GeorgeWu3 The B T W single-letter pronunciation is common that it would be better not to touch it.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

When I type in BTW, on dec talk, it says by the way. So I’m not sure why deck talk says it as by the way when I type in the letter BTW.

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

I don't know either. But Microsoft One Core doesn't do it.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

What abbreviations I can do for eloquence that is uncommon?

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

Take a look at the ENUabbr file for suggestions. But it seems that most useful ones have already been covered there.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Does the IBMTTS community dictionaries also works with sappy eloquence or eloquence for android?

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

The dictionaries work with the SAPI 4 version - I mean the Eloquence SAPI which ships with the Kurzweil 1000. They don't work with other SAPI releases. And they don't work with Eloquence for Android.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Does it work for the ETI eloquence add-on available on GitHub?

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

Which one do you mean? Please provide a link.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

https://github.com/pumper42nickel/eloquence_threshold

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

Yes, it supports dictionaries.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Does the community dictionaries also work for jaws?

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

No, because FreedomScientific have altered Eloquence there. Of course, there's a hack to make them partially support JAWS, but it's not worth the effort as JAWS tends to ignore derrivated and inflected forms of the words in the dictionaries.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

I’m not sure why iOS 17 eloquence, community dictionary is somewhat out of date? I think it’s using the July dictionary since ios 17 beta was released

amirsol81 commented 5 months ago

They haven't been updated by Apple for a long while.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

In my opinion, I think that Apple should release a new community dictionary for eloquence on each iOS update.

ultrasound1372 commented 5 months ago

Closing as discussion appears to have concluded. And for your information, we have no control over what Apple does, they pull as they will.

GeorgeWu3 commented 5 months ago

Right. I'm just expressing my opinion About eloquences community dictionary for IOS. They might put it in for iOS 18 but we do not know that
