Scenario: you open a UFO which has used a different color-marking system, and you want to update it to conform to your standard approach. Say, all component glyphs are marked in Orange, but you want them to be Blue. You could write your own script to select all glyphs of the currently selected color, and then apply a new mark ... or that could be a feature in Marx.
