Custom Data Viewer Layout not editable #901

When I go to My Data View Layouts and then click edit a saved layout, I see that everithing is grayed out and non-editable.

Issue/Request Origin

I experienced this on my own. Also I saw a mentioning in an earlier report and that was not solved

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create any layout in "Snap to Place" mode and save it (Save as Data Viewer Layout)
  2. Go to Dashboard / My Data View Layout and click Edit to this layout
  3. Everything in the opened window will be unclicable and unchangeable

Expected Behavior

I should be able to change properties of a saved layout to tweak it appearnce. Otherwise I have to go to the app with the layout, make changes and just save a new layout.

Actual Behavior

Everithing is grayed out and unclickable

Hi there,

I tried to replicate this behavior, but I found that I could edit existing Data Viewer custom layouts, and freshly created Data Viewer custom layouts. Do you still experience this behavior with your custom layouts?

Hi @jane-d-alt,

I do experience that. I am still unable to edit my Custom layout.
