I discovered that part of my JavaScript implementation could be replaced by a standard Jekyll plugin.
So this PR introduces it's use and also adds a border for the HTML table, resembling the Github Markdown rendering a bit more.
You can also test the rendering of emojis by commenting in the commented out section in the _config.yml. I have added comments describing this, together with links to my notes and resources.
Please let me know if you have any ideas or suggestions for improvements to the website rendering.
