Missing serial number – Error or config problem? #3

Hi,

starting Homebridge I get the the following error in the log:

[5/17/2022, 4:21:31 PM] [homebridge-gardena-smart] This plugin threw an error from the characteristic 'Serial Number': characteristic must have a non null value otherwise HomeKit will reject this accessory, ignoring new value. See https://git.io/JtMGR for more info.

Perhaps it's an error in the the plugin or it's a configuration error. I do not know... :confused:

I have the new Smart Sensor from 2021 and I do not know which value I have to provide in model. (@x23piracy had the same problem with this variable...)

Hi Tom Wessling, I have exactly the same problem with "Serial Number". In the properties of each device, the value "Default-SerialNumber" is given for Serial Number. As an experiment, I added the line

"serialNumber": "my serial number"

to the config.json: unfortunately without success. Is there any solution to the problem? Best regards Florian
