TiVo HD Series 3 Now Playing issue

First let me say... Great app! I absolutely love it.

Here is my issue.
I have a series 3 hd TiVo in my Living Room.  This is the THQ certified
version that came out first and cost like $800 bucks when it came out.

I also have one of the newer cheaper series 3 hd boxes in my bedroom. 

When selecting a program from the now Playing list i have no problems with
the unit in the bedroom as long as i have sorted and grouped turned on
(thats how its set up on both TiVos)
However the THQ certified box in the living room does not correctly select
the program i want to watch.

Im not sure if there is any other relevant information you may need from me
to help troubleshoot this.

Please let me know...

Also,  Both are running version 9.3 and all other things seem to be equal.

I'm having a similar issue with my THQ certified box running 9.4. When I select 
a 
show from the Now Playing list it says "Connection Error - Did not receive 
response."

If there's any additional info required for troubleshooting let me know.

I'm also getting "Connection Error - Did not receive response" when trying to 
select
a show from the Now Playing list.  I do not have the THQ certified box however. 
 I
have the cheaper series 3 box running the 9.4 software.  Looking forward to a 
fix for
this.

I'm getting this as well.  Once I turned on the ability for the Tivo to open 
the proper port, I now have remote 
control.  I can see the programs in the "Now Playing" list.  But I am unable to 
actually select a program to play.   
So, stop, play, etc.  All work fine.  But selecting a specific named program 
from the now playing list in the 
iphone, results in the "Connection Error - Did not receive response".  

I noticed that if I attempt to do this while a program is playing, then the 
program stopps, goes to the now 
playing list, and simply waits.   Then I get the connection error on the iphone.

Here is a suggestion as to the potential problem.  I have KIDS ZONE turned on 
to keep inappropriate content 
from the kiddos.  I noticed that when the DVR was in Kids Zone, that my list of 
programs, listed ALL the 
programs, including those not in the kids zone.  (Normally all non-approved 
content is inaccessable.  Even 
live TV won't play until the kids zone code is entered)  So I'm wondering if 
perhaps that is causing the 
problem.  I did try playing kid zone approved shows, but it seemed to make no 
difference.

I'm afraid to turn off kids zone, because we spend a lot of time approving 
shows, and I'm concerned it might 
erase all that if I turn off that service.

So the question is, to the others here that are having this problem, do you 
also have Kids Zone turned on?

(Tivo HD, New firmware, Not the THX version)

BTW:  The app is great.  There is a really crappy Tivo app in the app store 
now.  You could easily put this in the 
app store, charge a few bucks for this thing and make some nice spending money. 
 It's worth it.

I'm experiencing problems with this too, same "Did not receive response" error. 
It
sucks because this was the coolest feature since its about 10x faster than 
using the
remote to navigate thru Now Playing

I am getting this same error, did not receive response, with a Series 3 HD box, 
3G
iPhone, most recent firmware as of today's date, jailbroken, openSSL is 
installed,
was installed before tivo remote was, networking control is enabled on the 
tivo, Kids
zone is not turned on.

I"m getting the same thing with my HD XLs; the app works as a remote, but I 
have no
Now Playing list. I do have KidZone turned on on both of them, but the issue 
persists
even with KZ turned off. Still a very cool app.

I'm having the same problem. I have a TiVo HD and when I choose an item from 
Now Playing in TivoRemote it 
always starts a show, but it's never the one I picked. I use Kid Zone too.
