Remote Crashing Tivo #9

So lately i have been noticing my Tivo acting very strangely immediately
after using the Tivo remote app. By acting strangely i mean that the cable
feed appears to stop after i change the station. I change the station, get
picture + sound for about 3 seconds then it freezes. On standard def
stations i keep audio but still the video freezes. I can then change to
another station, but it repeats the above issue. It appears to happen when
i hit a button a couple of times, mistaking it for not working, then they
all go through kinda at once. The actual menu's of the tivo still work, so
i can restart it but we all know it says and means "Just a few minutes more..."

I didn't have a chance to try to reproduce this this morning, but in the next
version
I will try to throttle the number of commands that can be sent in a given time
period. Hopefully, I will be able to reproduce this, and verify that the
throttling
works.

im trying to think if its the number of times i hit enter. Or just the overall
number
of commands i send. I have tried to slow down and it appears to be fine, so its
something to do with the amount or speed i start tapping the touch.

I was unable to reproduce the problem.

I have introduced throttling in version .15. You should only be able to send a
command every 50ms. I hope this is enough time for the TiVo to react, but not
too
much time that it becomes apparent.

Hopefully, this will address your problem.
