Please test the new build and advise if this is fixed (or if there are side
effects): www.androidagendawidget.com/development

After installing this version, nothing changed in the widget I had before.
Astrid tasks still ordered as 12:00!.
A newly added, second widget showed nothing (only title bar), even after
importing the old settings.

In addition to ordering at noon, tasks show up as overdue after noon. Are
these related, our would this be a separate issue?

for me.

It says "Dev version updated 4/5/12",
when I wrote my comment 3 I had used the version from this day.

Determined that this cause of Felix's were due to some changes to the way
events are ordered (multi day events are now shown above all other events on
the same day).
Tasks always at top will be a new preference at some stage.

Hi,
since you can at least recognise which tasks are no-time tasks (and display no
time), couldn't you reorder them, even though Astrid returns them in order as
if they were 12:00 tasks? So that all tasks/events with time appear first in
the widget and then the ones without a time (which are now ordered as if they
were set to 12:00)?

That is what happens since the fix.
I seem to remember the ordering problem you are experiencing is due to multi
day events showing above tasks, which is different to the noon no time task
issue.

Which fix do you mean? Was it released already?
The problem is still there, see screenshot. Tasks without a time appear just as
if they were set to 12:00, the time is just not displayed.
When I have too many tasks on one day I can't see my important appointments
(that are most likely after 12:00) without scrolling down.

This is a feature suggestion and not a part of the original issue. Please feel
free to make a new issue or email me directly.
This issue (Astrid tasks without time are ordered as if they were 12:00 tasks)
is fixed in the development version. Astrid tasks are treated as all day events
(the same as the behavior before Astrid changed things around).
