[Question] QTileRenderer #76

This is probably not the best place for questions, but I am wondering why the 
QTileRenderer exists.

I am tight on space, and already I have working PostGreSQL GIS databases 
populated with several large osm extracts. GpsDrive uses mapnik to connect to 
these databases and render tiles on-the-fly which works fine albeit slightly 
slow.

I don't understand why monav's MapnikRenderer can't also do the same, and what 
advantages the QTileRenderer has over this on-the-fly mapnik rendering approach.

Does QTileRenderer read directly from PBF files?

close, please. I just started using MoNav and understanding the map modules and 
am impressed .. it blazes.
