Move source code to GitHub #493

Maybe it would be worth to migrate PowerMock source code to GitHub (like
Awaitility) to allow people to make a (potential) contribution easier?

I'd love to do that. Is there a simple way to automatically migrate from google
code svn to github?

There is google-code-issues-migrator [3] for the issue migration, but just for
the code I haven't found anything fully automatic (maybe it is a niche? :) ).
GitHub recommends [2] using the svn2git tool which I have successfully used to
migrate a few SVN project to Git, but never to GitHub directly.

It is useful to map existing SVN committers to Git(Hub) users to keep those
commits mapped after migration. That and a migration of branches and tags is
quite good described in the project documentation [3].

Thank you for the links. I really want to do this, I just need to find the time
to do so.
