I happen to still have the log you sent me a while ago regarding a different connection issue. Your new log shows Sipe couldn't get a host name and port it's supposed to connect to from the DNS:
(17:48:05) sipe: no SRV records found; trying A records next
whereas in the old one SRV query Sipe did for _sip._tls.yourcompany.com
returned access.yourcompany.com:443
(replace yourcompany.com with the actual domain). When I execute the DNS query from my location, I get the right answer and I'm even able to connect to the server using a dummy SIP username (albeit I obviously get rejected due to incorrect username/password). So the problem boils down to two possible causes:
access.yourcompany.com:443
into 'Server[:Port]' and switch 'Connection type' to 'SSL/TLS'.Yes, filling the field worked for me. Many thanks for your help.

So the problem boils down to two possible causes:
- temporary failure of the DNS server (which should be solved as of now)
- DNS is unreachable or won't answer due to some restrictions imposed on the location you're connecting from. You still may try manually filling the server address on 'Advanced' tab of your Pidgin account's settings. Fill access.yourcompany.com:443 into 'Server[:Port]' and switch 'Connection type' to 'SSL/TLS'.

After an upgrade from sipe-collab (can't say which one) my pidgin is no more able to login. I'm attaching the log. Here's my package list
I'm also using
