You have made a lot of good progress! You should allow people to upload their own pictures, reviews, and comments also instead of just seeing the ones posted there. This would be nice because it will be open sourced, and you could maybe make it so that each pin has its own newsfeed. However, if you do decide to make it a newsfeed, make sure to have garbage control haha.
You should allow users to be able to jump to different college campuses! It would be cool to see the different landmarks of different colleges. This could be especially helpful for high school seniors trying to choose between colleges.
Great job with the customized pins being put in the correct locations. At this point, to complete your main functionality, you should add more info to the pop up boxes for each pin, such as reviews or photos. Also, polish the interface at the top so the UI as a whole feels a bit more cohesive. Maybe also add the functionality for users to be able to add new locations
You have a solid amount of the core functionality implemented with the pins already being on the map. Where you need to go from here is adding functionality to the pins beyond just showing the locations of landmarks. That would make the app more useful for your target users, who probably don’t know much about UCSD landmarks.

Ashley I think you have made good progress! The next step would be to implement the search functionality. Also, it seems like you have your app include markers on important UCSD locations, but also the user can add the their own points. If you have default markers it might be good to make them different from the user generated ones.
Scott I think that the app is developing well. Some things to consider while finishing up the app are to polish up the UI to allow for easier access to the location data. I think it would be a good idea to focus on the branding of the app. By this I mean like working on creating a unique color scheme or perhaps creating a unique icon. I think that this last step would polish up your app enough to be publicly deployed. The app is similar enough to other features, but different at the same time. I think that making the UI be unique from others could really help your app stand out.
Michael I like the icons you have on your map to represent points of interest. I think the ability to search or filter by category is also a good idea, as I can see too many points of interest on the map being overwhelming. One thing you should do to complete core map/geographic functionality is to implement a list-view of the points of interest. That way, users can look through all the points and see if anything interests them. When they find something they like, they can then click on the item in the list and view its location on the map.
Tina You should have pictures appear on the map popups, so that the user can get an idea of what a location point would look like. That way, they can find the place as they are walking and looking for the location. Also, having the search functionality work would be really nice for your map app!
