What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open a document
2. Highlight/select some text
3. Open advance find/replace dialog - selected text is automatically entered
into the "find" field
4. Click the "rubbish bin" icon on the "find" field
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect the text in the field to be deleted and the field to become empty,
however nothing happens and the original text stays in the field.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Ubuntu LTS 12.04, GEdit 3.4.1, advanced-find 3.5.4
Please provide any additional information below.
This is a a company-issued computer, therefore I have no control over the
versions of the OS or GEdit.
