We discussed this, but I forget what we decided; was it "Today's MP" for English?
I don't think there was a decision. Last discussion I recall was this very issue... Is it possible to keep "Focus"?
"MP Focus"? "Featured MP"? "Highlighted MP"? "Today's MP Focus"?
I asked around here in the office and people think "დღის ფოკუსში" for Georgian is very acceptable. In English "Featured MP", "Highlighted MP", "Today's MP Focus" sound good. It is interesting what @TamaraCIPDD thinks.
I think "დღის ობიექტივში" or "დღის დეპუტატი" "may be relevant as well. I like the first one most.
We didn't want to say "Today's MP" or "დღის დეპუტატი" because this sort of implies they did something special that day and became that day's MP for a reason. "Focus" also carries that implication in a way but less so, hopefully.
So it seems we should decide between "ობიექტივში" and "ფოკუსში", I will ask around in the office to find out which sounds better. Also I thought that "დღეს" is better than "დღის", unless you mind.
"In focus today:" ?
I think that sounds great.
I agree, it's my favorite so far. So now we can just decide between the two Georgian options and we're set.
So we are choosing "დღეს ფოკუსში" and "In focus today", if there are no objections.
Great! Can we add this header now? Then we'll make any styling changes necessary as part of some of the other front-page tweaks we want to make in #135.
done
We need to explain why they're there, somehow.
How about "Today's Focus" in English and "დღის ფოკუსში" in Georgian? @ddohler @TamaraCIPDD
