Android 5 support? #55

Any chance to have Android 5 (Lollipop) support? Riot.im runs just fine on it, but F-Droid tells that SmsMatrix is not compatible. Or is it because of something else than the Android version?

I would really like to see support for Android 5 devices too. I have zero idea how hard it is, but if it is not terribly difficult, would you please consider supporting it? Thanks a gazillion in advance!

I believe that this is remediated, because it appears to operate when invoked by Android 9, without notification of compatibility.
