A Ticker is a code/abreviation for a stock or an identifier for a quoted company. Here is a list of tickers - https://stockanalysis.com/stocks/

The challenge

We need to offer a service where we can attribute sales to a spefic set of tickers (maybe 50 to start).

The larger trading houses and funds will have the ability to map the receipt data to tickers themselves.

The opportunity

The opportunity for us is to do this and to charge for the service.

The requests

I have been asked for this by the midsized and smaller funds and trading houses.

Here is a sample of the questions that I have been asked.

• The number of tickers you cover?
• Could you provide a summary of the key tickers associated with your dataset?
• Would you be able to share any details on key merchants associated with the dataset? This is helpful for those private merchants not identifiable via ticker.
