I don't think it's essential right now, but I would like to add some multi-species function eventually. I would like to be able to integrate multiple parabolas representing multiple species along an elevation gradient. Jim M already has a paper on this.
I would also like to turn on or off species in the scenario curve, essentially decide to introduce a species during a particular year. This may take additional development of the scenario function, as well as making sure that the runToEquilibrium function generates enough depth for the deepest root depth of any species that will be involved in the scenario, even if it is not present when you run the cohorts to equilibrium.
