I think we could add the ability to swap out biomass functions in the MEM implementation. Maybe at our next meeting, Jim M can explain to us how his current excel implementation works and we can work up an R translation/adaptation?

Jim Morris says that this forest biomass function would be too complicated for the initial build. We can reopen at a later stage, but I propose we close this issue for now.
