I'm on kubuntu 19.10 with backport ppa enabled for latest plasma version.
I installed kwin low latency using the ubuntu ppa.
In the process I also used dist-upgrade option which removed several packages like kubuntu-desktop etc.
Now,
After first reboot, I didn't had any window decorations.
In the same session when I tried to update again some package were held back:
Kwin-data, libkwin..... something
I resolved it by manually installing each package and then after reboot, I'm unable to login
Session starts and then crashes.
I can't install kwin again because of broken package held error which is not getting resolved from the tty terminal.
