Zoom 13 Canal Philippe Lamour is rendered (canal only) Canal du Rhône à Sète is rendered (navigable canal + riverbank) Le Petit Rhône is rendered (river + riverbank)
Zoom 12 Canal Philippe Lamour is not rendered Canal du Rhône à Sète is rendered Le Petit Rhône is rendered

Do we really need it?

We are focused on navigable waterways, and I'm not sure that in medium zoom levels we need this kind of non central information.

The problem is that some waterways are visible at "all" zoom levels (ie Le Petit Rhône), and some other "disappeared" with certain zoom levels (ie Canal Philippe Lamour).

One is a polygon, the other is just a line.
