We don't want to make you bored. This issue deals with XXX stable release updates, new features in Nuvola Player 3.1 and reports for patrons.
New web app scripts
Stable Release Updates
New script - Sirius XM 1.2
I've released a new web app script - Sirius XM 1.2. The package name is nuvolaplayer3-siriusxm.
Deezer script 2.5 released
I've released Deezer web app script 2.5 with the following enhancements:
Fixed detection of the playback state and play/pause buttons.
Ported to use Nuvola SDK.
SiriusXM script 1.3 released
I've released SiriusXM web app script 1.3 with the following enhancements:
Fixed parsing of the track title and the artist.
Album art is fetched and displayed. Requires Nuvola Player 3.1 because of restricted access to the images.
Ported to use the Nuvola SDK.
TuneIn script 1.2 released
On behalf of Aurélien Jabot, I've released TuneIn script 1.2 with folowing enhancements:
Added a complete set of icons with various sizes.
Added information about contributing to the script.
Logitech Media Server script 2.1 released
On behalf of Steffen Coenen, I've released Logitech Media Server script 2.1 with folowing enhancements:
Added a complete set of icons with various sizes.
Added information about contributing to the script.
KEXP script 1.1 released

Amazon Cloud Player 5.2 released
I've adopted the abandoned Amazon Cloud Player script originally created by Stephen Herbein and released version 5.2 with the following fixes:
New maintainer: Jiří Janoušek.
Added a complete icon set.
Added a license field to metadata.json.
Script now doesn't assume that it is always executed before a basic structure of a web page is
loaded. This isn't guaranteed and it leads to an incompatibility with Nuvola Player 3.0.3.
Added information about contributing to the script.
Adapted to the change of Amazon Music address. Issue: tiliado/nuvola-app-amazon-cloud-player#13
Track info parsing has been fixed. Issue: tiliado/nuvola-app-amazon-cloud-player#17
Yandex Music script 1.3 released
I've released Yandex Music web app script 1.3 with the following enhancement:
A compatibility bug with Nuvola Player 3.0.3 or greater has been fixed. Issue: tiliado/nuvola-app-yandex-music#3
Rolling Releases Updates
Nuvola Player 3.1 Milestone 1 Released
This is the first milestone of the Nuvola Player 3.1 Rolling Releases leading to the next stable release Nuvola Player 3.2. The key features are listed bellow, see release notes for a complete list of new features, enhancements and bug fixes.
HTTP Remote Control interface: This interface allows creation of client apps to control Nuvola Player over network via an Engine.io socket.
Media Player Controller web page: This page is an example of a client using the HTTP Remote Control interface. It allows you to control Nuvola Player from any device with a web browser (e.g. a phone).
Nuvola Controller Pebble Watchapp: This app for Pebble watches is another example of a client using the HTTP Remote Control interface. It allows you to control Nuvola Player from your wrist.
(Password Manager: With the Password Manager, you can store passwords from login forms in a secure keyring.
New features in Nuvola Player 3.1
Nuvola Player 3.1 is the current rolling series. New builds are constantly rolling out as new features are being developed. Initial milestone 3.1.0 was forked from release 3.0.0 on December 30th, 2015 and there have been huge amount of commits since then including many new features and under the hood improvements.

Packages for Ubuntu 16.10 Yakkety Yak has been published
There has been one report for patrons published since the last newsletter:
XXX Nuvola Player in September 2016 - Report for Patrons: Generous patrons contributed €199.89 to support the development of Nuvola Player in September 2016. Thanks to them, I put aside €6 for the Tiliado.eu VPS hosting and spent over 13 hours working on eight tasks, which are listed in the report with a few comments, so my reward was €14.91 per hour. However, I didn't count support requests which were dealt with for free.

Nuvola Player 3.1 Milestone 1 Released

Ability to both display and set track rating in Media Player Indicator GNOME Shell extension: Providing a streaming service supports it, Nuvola Player 3.1 exports track rating in MPRIS interface and a custom method to set rating of a track. Note that as of October 30th 2016, Player Indicator git master version is required.
