Fatal error when launching SkyrimTogether.exe

I've followed the install directions step-by-step, but when I select SkyrimSE.exe after running SkyrimTogether.exe I get a "FATAL ERROR !" window saying "'appid' key can not be equal to 0 !"

I bought the game legitimately, I've tried reinstalling the mod and the SKSE dependency thru vortex and manually, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling skyrim special edition, and obviously just tried restarting my computer.

The game runs fine when I just launch it normally so I don't believe it's an issue with my game files.

Not sure what else I can do to fix it since the error message doesn't mean much to me. Any help would be appreciated!

What's your numerical version of Skyrim?

1.6.353.0. I just looked at the version of the syrimse.exe file. Not sure if this is the right way to check the version

Are you referring to SKSE64 or the Address Library for SKSE Plugins - All in one (Anniversary Edition)?
