Edit characteristics should append instead? #11

With the current implementation, if I want to append the customer characteristics, there is no easy way to do it. Removing everything would make this slightly troublesome actually.

We currently dont have a way to remove the characteristics one by one, hence this is the easiest way the user can remove and add characteristics using a CLI
