Sometimes I launch new windows and they don't appear. Hitting the overlay key doesn't show them. restarting gnome shell with alt F2, r brings things back to normal.

Does this happen without shellshape? As with #109, I don't see that shellshape could cause this.

You are right, I just reproduced it without shellshape. I guess this is gshell then... wow. That's a whole 'nother level of worry, then...
