In UBUNTU 12.04 with Gnome 3.4 I can't use the shortcut win+d because it conflict with one of UBUNTU's shortcut. I try disable UBUNTU's default win+d shortcut with 1) System Settings -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts 2) gsettings 3) gconf-editor without lucky.

Have you reported the ubuntu bug on launchpad? Last I heard they did some funky things to gnome's preferences because they couldn't upgrade to dconf yet.

You should at least be able to change shellshape's shortcut to something else, if you run "gnome-shell-extension-prefs" (via the alt-f2 run dialog), then select shellshape, then click the "dconf-editor" button. From there you can navigate to the location that the prefs dialog tells you to, and modify keybindings/set-layout-tiled-vertical to something else. Not the most straightforward of instructions, I'm afraid.

@gfxmonk Thanks for your help. I change the shortcut following your instructions. About reported the ubuntu bug on launchpad, I didn't it because I'm not familiar with the bug report process at launchpad.
