Still to do:

[ ] This currently simply disables Cocoa and clutter_test.js. Those should be revived.
[ ] Stops working after keyboard hotplug until Shell restart, https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/mutter/issues/799

Thanks for getting this started @inducer ! I've upgraded myself, and through some hackery got this working despite the hotplug issue: https://github.com/timbertson/slinger/commit/4f9bbe7e75eb90c51d752503105d37894c075dc6
