Sound channel disable/mute? #100

Would it be possible to add the option to disable/mute for individual channels 
from the pcm sound chip? Is there any way to do this myself?

I'm trying to record the speech from Urusei Yatsura: Dear My Friends but if I 
mute all chips except for the pcm in the volume control I still get some of the 
music played. I assume this is because the pcm is responsible for some of the 
background music.
