Linux - fails to login or run a demo #236

on Ubuntu 24.04 x86

  1. Followed installation instructions for linux .tar.gz.
  2. clicked on login - the login window displays for a few millseconds and disappears with message - "Could not login. Could not login"
  3. clicking on any demo dashboad - shows "Not connected" screen
