Hotcue and advanced effects #7

Hotcue display on preview and deck waveform with text (for example mixed in key 10 can add energy level info), color fx and beat fx support through effect chains. See my Pioneered-Plus repo for example Pioneer-style effect chains.

Thanks for the hot cues! However, now I am not able to set up the effect anymore by touching on it. See the screenshot below, now I see "Color FX L, Color FX R, Beat FX", but these areas are not touch-responsive. And my Traktor controller does not allow setting the effects via hardware buttons, it has to be done in software.

What version of mixxx are you using ? If its only 2.3, not 2.4 it might not work. Effect chain selectors are added in 2.4. I'm using these to create more pioneer-ish effects. Like a noise color effect needs both a filtervand white noise.

Oh right, then I will give it a try with mixxx 2.4. Maybe it would be better to keep 2.4-only features in a separate branch of Pioneered, as not everyone wants to use the development version, especially since 2.4 brings many features that might not be 100% stable yet. Or at least we should mention in the documentation that Pioneered requires mixxx 2.4.
