[JENKINS-18981] Can't add a build step using the Google Chrome browser #10433

I'm just upgraded to v1.524 and I can no-longer add build steps using the Chrome browser. IE appears to work still but since our organisation is using Chrome, this causes us some problems.

I can confirm the same issue, but I'm using the current chrome beta (my Jenkins instance is running on Ubuntu installed from the official jenkins repo, but I don't think it's relevant to the issue).

Since I updated to 1.525 I can't even log in.

With firefox current and safari it's working fine.

The issue does not appear in newest Jenkins versions
