[JENKINS-34265] pipeline plugin installation - subversion plugin keeps running for long time #3042

The Subversion plugin that is getting installed as part of pipeline plugin is not getting installed and all the plugins that follows are stuck. It is spinning for longer time, almost 3 hours and still in-progress.

Can someone take a look and provide us a solution/workaround, please?

We are doing a prototype based on this plugin and this is blocking us.

Appreciate any help in this regard.

Finally, i could install it manually.

Step 1 : I started the pipeline installation
Step 2 : The subversion plugin got stuck
Step 3: I removed the .tmp file from the plugins directory and installed subversion manually by copying the subversion.pi
Step 4 : I restarted my jenkins
Step 5 : I tried installing the pipeline again fresh

It went through. I believe it could be the subversion plugin download got stuck or something. I believe the installation mechanism should have some way of automatically aborting the subversion install and try it again or something.

Iam reducing the priority to minor and still keeping this issue open.
