Regular dnf search is not case sensitive. There is no way to toggle this behavior in yumex-dnf.

Yes, you are right yumex is always search case sensitive when using prefix and keyword When using fields, then the search is case insensitive.

I think that alle searches should be case insensitive by default.

I will look into that
