Illegal unit of measure (pt inserted) #1

When I try to use the template, I get the following error: bmvc_review.log

This has been previously reported here: tex.stackexchange

David Carlisle proposed replacing: \put(\LenToUnit{\textwidth\kern3pt},\LenToUnit{-\bmv@ruleroffset}){%right ruler by \put(\LenToUnit{\textwidth},\LenToUnit{-\bmv@ruleroffset}){%right ruler at line 653, and it worked for me.

Would that be a valid solution?

I am facing the similar issue and the suggested solution fixed the problem. However, Does this fix have any issue with the BMVC standard formatting?
