By default, screen uses a "meta" key combination that begins with the
sequence "CTRL-A". All known tutorials on screen usage, as well as all
proficient screen users, will be familiar with CTRL-A +
SOME_OTHER_CHARACTER. Crusty's use of CTRL-Z as a replacement for CTRL-A is
thus non-intuitive. Adding to this, most bash users will recognize CTRL-Z
as the terminal sequence to halt a running job.
It is this user's suggestion that Crusty's screen configuration be switched
back to CTRL-A for the meta sequence. I do not know of the reason Crusty
uses CTRL-Z for screen. Perhaps I can be convinced this is actually better.
For now, I will look into this issue and see if it can be resolved
amicably. :-)
