What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. check out crusty according to instructions
2. Run make install
3. The terminal output asks you to add a line to your ~/.bashrc and
~/.bash_profile
4. Several users (myself) seem to have overlooked these instructions.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
It would be nice if make install were to append the necessary lines for us.

Anyone got examples of make files that do that? That would be fun to see how it 
it done.
