How to get prediction from final supervised classifier,on new sentence #29

How do you get the prediction from the final supervised classifier which is there in final folder to get prediction on new sentnence

You can use the eval method found in pet/wrapper.py:

from pet import InputExample
from pet.wrapper import TransformerModelWrapper

model = TransformerModelWrapper.from_pretrained("<YOUR_FINAL_FOLDER>")
data = [InputExample(guid=0, text_a="<YOUR_INPUT_SENTENCE>")]

logits = model.eval(data, device='cuda')['logits']

To access the logits for a particular label, you can get that label's index as follows:

label_idx = model.config.label_list.index("<YOUR_LABEL>")

Thanks,can you add the link to the documentation for your API?

What about batch prediction,I am not sure I quite understand the API fully to be able to pass sentences in batches

What link are you referring to? With regards to batch prediction, you can simply provide multiple examples (note that data is a list) (and specify the batch size via per_gpu_eval_batch_size):

data = [InputExample(guid=0, text_a="<INPUT1>"), InputExample(guid=0, text_a="<INPUT2>"), InputExample(guid=0, text_a="<INPUT3>")]

Trying this on trained PET recieve an eror:

Hi, this error is because in your PVP's get_parts method, you apply rstrip to the example's text_b, but the provided example does not contain a text_b (i.e., text_b is None, thus the error: 'NoneType' object has no attribute 'rstrip'). You can either modify your PVP or simply provide an empty text_b like so:

data = [InputExample(guid=0, text_a="<YOUR_INPUT_SENTENCE>", text_b="")]
