Commentators on the other hand could benefit from seeing many stats that they can leverage during their commentaries.
Since NesTrisChamps support multiple view into the same room, it makes sense to have a commentator-specific view. The main stream main show a simplified view, but commentators could load the view on the side and have many more stats they can chose (or not) to discuss).
Approach
Taking the CTWC23 layout as base, create a commentator view with following features:
Show Running Tetris Rate (useful to understands recent performance when a commentator focuses on player and then shifts his/her focus to the other player)
Show Efficiency metrics
Show Burn value
Show Value of a Tetris for the current level
Show real time drought stats (current drought, last drought length, max drought length, total number of drought)
Show runways for level 19, 29, 39, and the tetris diffs for the runways
Note that runways locks on death score on death, so the stats will show if the laggard's runways is larger than the leader score, during chase down. This can help commentator make assessments on whether they think the laggard can make it.
