Please fix soon I'm about to dump the chrome os although it is quite nice. I

google chrome does not yet allow java. I hope they do soon because im a big 
runescape fan. I haven't ever played minecraft but I may try it if chrome will 
fix this java thing. until they fix the java I would not recommened this 
computer to anyone.

Go the 'crouton' route that's now available, it lets you run the ChromeOS and 
Ubuntu at the same time just by switching virtual terminals.

its funny because on the box it doesn't say anything about what really is... 
-.- like many others I literally bought this fucking chromebook to play 
runescape and other java ran games. Google is pulling some dumb shit. I've 
changed to ubuntu and linxus on tthis chromebook and every time i went to turn 
the computer off it went back to chromeos. I'm telling you i've spent more 
fucking time trying to get java on this computer then using it for other 
things. You would think if google was as intelligent as they make themselves 
out to be, they would have made it compatible with at least java. java + low 
priced laptop = a shit ton of money... -.-

chromebooks are the #1 WORST, budget internet things EVER invented. Google will 
be held responsible for this outrageous horseshit. i would file 200 lawsuits on 
google for this. the company called ORACLE which is in charge of Java even says 
that supposedly over a billion devices run on Java, but chromebooks are the 
only things that do NOT even support java, Christ, has google gone to hell 
already? im buying a REAL pc laptop, one that has a disc drive, a huge amount 
of storage, a goddamn video card for games like Gmod or Minecraft or other 
things that require a video card such as google earth, and of course one that 
supports Java 100%. Chromebooks are fake junk
