Ability to play sounds when button is pressed #209

Open Staartvin opened 2 years ago

Staartvin commented 2 years ago

Please describe the problem would like to solve Whenever I mute my microphone using a button on the Streamdeck, but I'm not always sure whether button-press worked. Audio feedback would be great, so it would be awesome to be able to play a sound whenever a button-press occurs. I've tried adding a command to play the sound, but it does not seem to work. Moreover, that seems more like a workaround than a proper feature.

Describe the solution you'd like Perhaps an option to play a sound (.wav, .ogg, mp3, etc.) and then provide a file path to the sound you want to play. It would be nice to have a 'preview' button as well, so we can verify whether the sound is actually playing well.

Neat overview of suggestions:

Very reasonable request IMHO. I would like to see #208 completed and then adding a sound action should be quite trivial.

I use aplay for this

toggle mic command && aplay success.wav

For example as the command, its a little bit of a workaround though
