How to apply a stylesheet to XML files held in the system #20

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

It would be useful to be able to apply a stylesheet (XSL) to XML files
containing the full study information submitted by Chassis via CMIS. The name
of the file could be well known either the same name as the study ABCDE.xml or
study.xml

What is the best way to do this?

(Renditions, adding a stylesheet declaration to the file ???)

Estimate: 4h
Description: Probably best to do with a rule that is triggered if a file with
the name study.xml is dropped into a folder, it then creates a new "rendition"
of the file by applying the XSL stylesheet. Includes testing

Investigate rendition service to do an XSL transform so that when the XML file
is clicked there is an HTML view of the file.
