Submitting HMDHFDplus to rOpenSci? #10

Hi @timriffe ,

I wonder if you would be interested in submitting HMDHFDplus to rOpenSci. This package would definitely fit in the desired package categories (see http://devguide.ropensci.org/policies.html#package-categories). I already submitted a package to rOpenSci myself and also worked as a reviewer.

I just used your package yesterday and thought it would be cool to have it in the rOpenSci package collection.

Regards, Philipp

Dear Phillip, Thank you for this suggestion and encouragement. I have heard of, but never submitted to or reviewed for rOpenSci, but I do think it would make sense to do this, especially if I could muster the resources to improve this package: I have a laundry list of features users have requested and further related databases to add, but I'm a bit overwhelmed with having to figure out all their different login systems. I think the appropriate time to go through a code review would be when I finally manage to make a window to work on this package. Thanks again! Tim

Would you mind me having a look at the open issues? Maybe I can have a look at the authentication mechanisms. I'm currently working on my LexisPlotR package again, so I'm a bit into these things again, anyway.

If you’re willing to have a look I’d certainly appreciate it!
