Having a problem with TV Everywhere #6

I seem to have messed up something on my system. I used to be able to use TVE but now I am receiving this message:

chrome failed to start: mkdir: cannot create directory ‘/root’: Permission denied touch: cannot touch '/root/.local/share/applications/mimeapps.list': Permission denied chrome_crashpad_handler: --database is required Try 'chrome_crashpad_handler --help' for more information. [328:328:0924/141142.329947:ERROR:socket.cc(120)] recvmsg: Connection reset by peer (104)

Any idea why? I am running the container with UID and GID as 1000 so of course it cannot touch anything in the /root folder but I don't know why it's trying.

Hey sorry you’re running into the issue. I actually stopped maintaining this (https://community.getchannels.com/t/unraid-community-app-store/30764/81?u=timstephens24) and just forgot to archive it. You can use the official docker (https://hub.docker.com/r/fancybits/channels-dvr/tags) with the tve tag. It should be a straightforward move to that image from mine.
