I just had verbose run of aamporter against the same ccp.plist and probably found the reason why aamporter is not downloading the updates for Indesign and Photoshop.
Getting updates for Channel ID AdobeInDesignCC-9.0..
TargetLicensingType of 1 found. This seems to be Creative Cloud updates. Skipping update.

Is there a reason that those updates are skipped even when i explicitly downloading updates for CC?
There are currently issues with getting the most recent updates for CC apps (see earlier discussions in #4). I would like to resolve these, but can't find the time just now. My organization doesn't have CC (or CCP) yet, either, which doesn't make it easy to test..
As for "trying to download an update multiple times", this happens because certain updates are valid for many applications, for example AdobeCSXSExtensions4 - a core support library for (all?) CS apps. aamporter logs that the update applies to multiple channels, but won't re-download it each time.
Hi,
just changed in line 165 skipTargetLicensingCC to False and had another run of aamporter. Result:

Looks like the missing CC updates. I will try to compare this the ccp package containing only the updates for the basic apps of my "Standard" package.
Comparison was quite a success. Aamporter did download almost the same patches as the CCP application did. In fact it did download one more package which is not appearing in CCP: AdobeDigitalPublishingCC-2.0-29.0.0
This is the part where some more study needs to be done. We knew that by eliminating the target licensing type check we'd pull in many more updates, particularly the most recent ones. What's left to filter out is certain classes of updates that aren't actually deployable via the AAMEE tools, and AdobeDigitalPublishing would seem a good candidate, because of known issues with its installer.
That being said, it is more acceptable to have it import one or two problematic updates if it will import many more updates that it shouldn't be missing.
Hi,
I just made another comparison. This time I checked the modified aamporter.py against the full creative cloud version packed in a ccp package and again with the exception of the AdobeDigitalPublishingCC-2.0-29.0.0 package it downloaded everything as the CCP application.
I've changed the default behaviour (finally) here: https://github.com/timsutton/aamporter/commit/5791517f94743175595a33e93cb39b29f7ff95db
Hi
it seams that aamporter misses some available updates. Instead it tries to download a single update several times: command: ./aamporter.py --plist=AdobeCCStandard.ccp.plist
Product-Plist:
aamporter-ouput:
At least the updates for Indesign, Photoshop are missing.
