Fixes #80. Note: haven't tried it out, but this is ported over from where I used it inside improbable-io/packer-windows#improbable-io

Nice work. Was your decision to do the configuration via standard environment variables (as opposed to Packer's user vars) to just keep consistency with the PACKER_CACHE_DIR support that's in Packer?

Yes, that's right. One can still apply via user variables, as well.
