It would be great if you could open mp3s/audiofiles from an external source (i.e Solid explorer) and play them without adding them to the library first.
Shuttle version:
v2.0.2
Device, OS:
Samsung Galaxy S8 G950F Android 7.0 December Security Update
Description of bug:
When opening (or: trying to open) a media file from Solid Explorer that is stored on remote share (e.g a Samba Share), it will open Shuttle, but
no sound will play
Now playing doesn't show the selected track
Steps to reproduce:
Step 1 Open a file from a network drive in Solid Explorer
Step 2 select Shuttle as player
Step 3 Shuttle opens
Expected outcome:
The song should play
Observations/Actual Result:
Song doesn't play
It has something to do with the media server functionality of Solid Explorer, because a local file selected via Solid Explorer gets played without problems.
